Adult Residential Facility (ARF)

 Administrator Initial Certification Training Program
(DSS/CCL Approval #1000409-735-1)

This program is approved by the California Department of Social Services for 35 hours of training in the following topics:
– Laws & Regulations (Title 22): 6 hours
– Business Operations: 3 hours
– Management & Supervision of Staff: 3 hours
– Psychosocial Need of Residents: 4 hours
– Community & Support Services: 3 hours
– Physical Needs: 4 hours
– Resident Admissions, Assessment & Retention Procedures: 4 hours
– Non-Violent Crisis Intervention & Reporting Requirements: 4 hours
– Medications: 4 hours

Conducted in a classroom setting, this program uses didactic lecture, case discussions, and question and answer sessions. The curriculum is based on the core of knowledge from Title 22 Regulations. The classes are conducted over 4 days, concluding with test evaluations. Upon successful completion of the program, you will be qualified to take the Administrator Certification Test to become an ARF Certified Administrator.
